Surf’s up at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park at Walt Disney World® Resort, where legend tells the tale of a whirlwind storm. Hurling surfboards into palm trees, propelling small boats onto rooftops, and impaling a shrimp boat to the top of volcanic Mount Mayday, the tempest finally calmed and left behind a tropical paradise where you’ll experience peaceful bliss and pulse-pounding adventure alike!
The action begins with the park’s raft rides, which include solo runs at Keelhaul Falls and the extra-intense Mayday Falls. Or, grab a partner for the two-person Crush ‘n’ Gusher, a 400-foot “water coaster.” And the whole gang can enjoy a four-person journey on Gang Plank Falls or Typhoon Lagoon’s newest attraction, Miss Adventure Falls — one of the longest rides at any Disney park.
Not that you need a raft to have a fast time here. Storm Slides offer three ways to zip downhill in a hurry, and Humunga Kowabunga will send you flying 214 feet down at a 60-degree angle … in the dark!
Kids won’t be left out of the fun, either, thanks to KetchakiddeeCreek — featuring aquatic activities for little ones — and Bay Slides’ pint-sized runs.
In their quest for a new island home, the fabled Waturi people searched high and low for the perfect island paradise — and they found it at Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park, part of Universal Orlando Resort! Split into four distinct areas anchored by the towering, 200-foot-tall Krakatau volcano, the park is a stunning testament

Split into four distinct areas anchored by the towering, 200-foot-tall Krakatau volcano, the park is a stunning testament to the Waturi philosophy: “Water Is Life and Life Is Joy.”
This imaginative water theme park is equal parts vibrant and serene, and resort-like amenities and creative menu offerings only add to the South Pacific island appeal. Sip a specialty cocktail or sample Polynesian delights as you plunge into island life!
Excitement awaits in Rainforest Village, including Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides, Maku PuihiRound Raft Rides, Punga Racers, Taniwha Tubes — Tonga & Raki, TeAwa the Fearless River and Ohyah& Ohno Drop Slides. Or, take a relaxing dip in the Puka Uli Lagoon.
Tranquility also abounds at Wave Village thanks to Waturi Beach and The Reef, as does adventure courtesy of Ko’okiri Body Plunge. Then, drift away along the Kopiko Wai Winding River at River Village, which has fun for younger guests and their families at Tot Tiki Reef, Runamukka Reef and Honu ikaMoana — and excitement for thrill-seekers at Krakatau Aqua Coaster.
Aquatica’s newest attraction, KareKareCurl, leads the parks lineup of unforgettable experiences, inviting you to “climb” a vertical wave wall during a high-adrenaline, weightless adventure. More fun on rafts and tubes can be found at Ray Rush, Omaka Rocka, Tassie’sTwisters, Walhalla Wave and Whanau Way. You can even grab a mat for a light

You can even grab a mat for a lightning-fast, eight-person competition at Taumata Racer!
Not that you need a conveyance to have a blast at Aquatica! Take a solo run through Ihu’sBreakaway Falls — the steepest multi-drop tower in Orlando — or race through a roaring sea of high tides at Roa’s Rapids. And for an experience your friends back home won’t believe, travel through a school of playful, black-and-white Commerson’sdolphins from inside an enclosed, see-through tube at Dolphin Plunge.
The latter has an underwater viewing area for younger guests, who will also enjoy kid-centric attractions like Kata’s Kookaburra Cove and Walkabout Waters. And the whole family can frolic together at the Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores wave pools.
The wave pools also have sandy beach areas that are perfect for relaxation, and Loggerhead Lane — a lazy river where you can float past exotic tropical fish and the park’s dolphin exhibit — extends the tranquility
Disney storytellers share the tale of a freak snowstorm that hit Florida, whereupon the world’s most unique ski resort was built. When Florida’s normal sunny temperatures returned, the snowy ski lodge transformed into a watery wonderland, creating Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park at Walt Disney World® Resort in the process!
Besides an imaginative setting, Blizzard Beach offers thrills and relaxation in equal measure. For the former, test your mettle on Summit Plummet and its near-vertical, 120-foot drop. More fast times await on the 90-foot Slush Gusher, the competitive Downhill Double Dipper and a trio of 350-foot slides at Snow Stormers. For the ultimate challenge, head to the top of Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park’s centerpiece, Mount Gushmore, for high-speed action at Runoff Rapids.
When you’re ready to slow down, take a 40-minute tour of the park’s 3,000-foot-long lazy river, Cross Country Creek, or chill out at Melt-Away Bay. And if you’re traveling with children, they’re sure to have a blast at Tike’s Peak and Ski Patrol Training Cam
