This “Hotel Bill of Rights” sets forth the mutual expectations that guests attending the American Youth Football (“AYF”) National Championships and associated events and AYF’s designated, approved and participating hotels
can expect from one-another during the event and your respective stay at their properties.
Hotel Guests should expect and receive without exception:
You, the guest, are responsible to inspect all of the rooms in your room block, any problems should be brought to the immediate attention of hotel management. (Do not allow an issue to go unaddressed for 2 days and then ask the hotel for compensation or a discount.)
Hotel Guests, are required to abide by hotel rules, including but not limited to the rules covering public areas, and coaches, parents and or guardians are responsible for the supervision of the children under their care at all times.
The Hotel and its employees should expect from you, its guest, without exception:
You may request to leave a hotel If you are not satisfied with the property you are at, you may switch to another of the AYF designated, approved and
participating hotels.
Any transfers to a non approved property, will result in your team/squad being disqualified from the tournament.
Your hotel will allow you to switch to another AYF approved property without penalty, and will release any holds on your credit/debit card once they receive confirmation from your new property that you have checked in. You will, however, be responsible to pay any and all costs that you have incurred at the property prior to your moves, so be aware of each hotel’s checkout times. Otherwise all hotel reservations are guaranteed and non-refundable.
A Hotel may request that you leave. In the event that you do not comply with the list above or you otherwise engage in behavior that should compel a
hotel to ask you to leave their property. The hotel is expected to generate a report as to why you were asked to leave and to share that report with AYF and any other hotel that you may seek to move to. If, based on the contents of the report, no other hotel is willing to accommodate you/your team, you will be disqualified from the tournament.
Hotels have been advised to ignore any and all instances of “name dropping” especially when a guest is trying to receive “special” treatment,” hotel management is in direct contact with AYF and any and all authorized
communications come directly from AYF.
