Our hotel is consistently implementing additional steps and procedures to help protect the safety of our guests and team members. As a result, certain services and amenities may be unavailable during this time.
Listed below are answers to our most frequently asked questions about COVID-19.
Grand Hotel Kissimmee at Celebration has consulted with local experts and put together more elevated cleanliness standards using EPA-approved disinfectants with a focus on putting safety first for our guests. In addition, our team is armed with helpful guidelines and safety information provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) detailing how to identify COVID-19 symptoms and alleviate its transmission.
Throughout your stay, you’ll observe more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas like lobbies and elevators, as well as enhanced social distancing measures taken in public spaces. Plus, you’ll be offered disinfecting wipes with your key card at check-in and will find hand sanitizing units by elevators, in the lobby and by the entrance to public restrooms.
Not at this time. Because we have had to temporarily suspended some amenities in our hotel, the mandatory $12 per night Amenity Fee has been waived.
Our hotel still offers complimentary shuttle service to both the Universal & Walt Disney World Theme Parks. This service is based on availability and requires seat reservations to be made in advance at www.Floridabusservice.com.
Our daily Hot Continental Breakfast has been discontinued temporarily. However, Coffee and Fruit Juices will still be available in the Café Area from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Coffee & Juice Cups will be handed out from the Front Desk as well as sugar, creamer, etc and all products will be sealed when disbursed.
Yes, the pool will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
We do have, however, posted signage in the pool area advising that there is a 15-person limit at all times. We ask that all guests practice social distancing while enjoying the pool area.
Pool Towels have been removed from the Pool area, but are available at the Front Desk upon request.
Guestroom cleaning services are temporarily suspended in occupied rooms and are available on request only. Bed Linens and Towels will only be changed following a guest departure. However, Guest requiring Towel Refresh Service may call the Front Desk and request a Towel Exchange. Fresh Towels will arrive in a sealed bag and be exchanged for the used towels.

We have enhanced our cancellation policies as follows:
· Guests who made a direct booking within our system, for stays through the end of 2020, will have their cancellation or change penalties waived if the request is received at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
· Guests who made a direct booking within our system, for non-refundable/non-cancelable stays through the end of 2020, can change their reservations to a future date without penalty, if the request is received at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
· Guests who are prohibited from traveling to our hotel under applicable law will have their cancellation or change penalties waived on direct bookings.
· If your reservation was made as part of a group booking—such as a conference, meeting, or event—the cancellation policies outlined above do not apply. If you have a group reservation, please review the terms and conditions for the booking and/or contact the group planner for more information.
For bookings made by a travel agent or an online booking platform, guests are advised to contact the agent or booking platform directly to cancel.
Walt Disney World Resort Phased Reopening and Important Information
• All 4 Walt Disney World theme parks are now open. Park attendance is managed via the Disney Park Pass reservation system—now available to Guests with valid admission. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date are required for Guests ages 3 and up.
• Disney has taken enhanced health and safety measures for all guests to follow while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. The below link is a video on Disney World's site advising all park attendees important information on their theme parks that you must "Know Before you Go"
